TelehealthHelping Utah women navigate anxiety, burnout, relationships, and life transitions.
Have you become so accustomed to being there for everyone else that you’ve lost touch with what you need? Maybe you’re the dependable one, the problem solver, the woman who keeps everything together. But privately, you’re overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, struggling with relationships, or wondering when it will be your turn to feel supported. You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone. I’m Regina W. Hood, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) professional with more than 20 years of experience in mental health counseling. I work with women navigating anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, grief, emotional exhaustion, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-informed practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up honestly without feeling judged or pressured to have all the answers. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify your emotional needs, strengthen healthy boundaries, and develop practical tools to support meaningful change. If you’re ready to make yourself a priority, I invite you to take the first step. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

What a first session looks like
Your first session is a welcoming opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. We’ll discuss your concerns, personal history, current challenges, and what you hope to accomplish through counseling.
I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and sharing at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals, explore areas where you would like support, and discuss practical strategies to help you move forward.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. Just come as you are. This is your space to be heard, supported, and understood.
