What a first session looks like
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, your experiences, and what kind of support feels helpful to you. You’re welcome to share at your own pace; you don’t have to tell me everything all at once. I’ll also explain how therapy works, including confidentiality and what you can expect from our work together. We can discuss any questions or concerns you have and begin identifying what you’d like to focus on. My goal is to create a comfortable, respectful space where you feel heard and supported. Therapy is collaborative, and we’ll shape the process together.
